Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least five years of professional software-development experience, including two years in a senior or technical leadership role.
Strong experience developing production applications using Laravel, PHP, Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
Solid knowledge of REST APIs, authentication, role-based access control, background jobs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
Experience working with PostgreSQL or MySQL, including database design, migrations, indexing, and performance optimization.
Practical experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Linux-based production environments.
Ability to design secure, maintainable, and scalable software architecture.
Good understanding of application security, data protection, audit logging, backups, and disaster recovery.
Experience integrating services such as payment gateways, SMS, email, and cloud storage.
Ability to review code, enforce development standards, mentor junior developers, and resolve complex technical problems.
Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Experience developing HR, payroll, recruitment, attendance, or other enterprise systems will be an added advantage.
Experience with Kotlin and Android development will also be an advantage.
