We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Consultant to guide our organization [or client base] in optimizing human capital management, ensuring regulatory compliance, and aligning workforce strategies with core business goals. In this role, you will diagnose workforce challenges, design and implement HR programs, and provide expert advisory services across employee relations, talent management, organizational development, and compensation structures. The ideal candidate possesses deep HR domain expertise, sharp analytical skills, and the ability to influence key decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategic HR Advisory & AuditConduct organizational assessments and HR audits to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, or compliance risks. Formulate and execute tailored HR strategies, policies, and workflows aligned with business objectives. Provide expert guidance during organizational restructuring, change management, or mergers and acquisitions. 2. Legal Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure all HR programs, employee handbooks, and labor practices comply with local, state, and federal employment laws.Advise management on high-risk employee relations matters, investigations, performance management, and disciplinary procedures. Audit existing payroll, benefits, and workplace safety systems to maintain regulatory standards.3. Talent Management & DevelopmentHelp design competitive talent acquisition strategies, job architecture, and hiring frameworks. Develop performance appraisal systems, KPI frameworks, and employee retention plans. Create and deliver leadership development workshops, training sessions, and onboarding programs. 4. Compensation & HR TechnologyRecommend compensation structures, incentive schemes, and benefit packages based on market benchmarking.Select, implement, and integrate HR technology platforms (HRIS, ATS, Payroll systems). Leverage HR metrics and workforce analytics to inform strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred). Experience: 3–5+ years of proven experience as an HR Consultant, HR Business Partner (HRBP), or Senior HR Generalist.Certifications (Preferred): SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or CIPD certification.Legal Knowledge: In-depth understanding of employment legislation, labor standards, and compliance frameworks. Tech Stack: Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace suite.
